Class Descriptions & Pricing

Please browse our class offerings to find one that is right for you!  Or, you may call our studio to set up a consultation with one of our teachers to assist you in choosing a class that fits your yoga journey goals.  Each of our classes is limited to 11 students in order to provide personalized attention and modifications to meet you where you are in your yoga journey.   The studio offers yoga mats, blocks, blankets, and straps for use during class. Please go to our Class Calendar page to register for a class.  If you feel unsure about whether yoga is right for you or if you would like a private session before attending a group class, please call the studio. 
Most one hour classes are $12.00 to $20.00 per class.  Our monthly unlimited membership is $90.00 per month, and includes all regular
yoga classes and Tai Chi Gung.  At the top of the appointment page click on View products/packages to sign up for one of the monthly memberships.  If you come to the studio 2 or more times per week, the monthly saves you money. New students can purchase a 2 month introductory membership for $70.00 per month. We also have a 10 class yoga package for $120.  Tai Chi Gung is $15.00 per class.
Gift Certificates are available at Your Yoga or on our Class calendar page of the website. Go to the calendar page, click on your yoga schedule, and at the top of the page click on products/packages and scroll down to various gift certificates.

This slow-paced class provides a soothing relaxation and calm flow of stretches and poses with rhythmic breath, creating a harmony for the mind, body, and spirit.   

Supportive Yoga
(
formerly Around the Chair)

This class is for all body types, all ages, and focuses on using props to support the yoga practice. If you feel you may need extra support in your yoga practice to improve balance, flexibility, or strength, this is a class for you. We do many of the yoga poses you would see in a gentle yoga class, while using a chair, blocks, and straps for  support. Some poses are practiced off the chair.

Gentle Yoga

This slow-paced class is appropriate for beginner to intermediate students and those with physical limitations, such as knee, back, hip, or shoulder concerns.  The focus is on intentional, mindful, slow movement, improving flexibility, relaxation, and calmness.

Hatha Yoga

This slow to moderate-paced class focuses on intentional movement into the yoga poses and engaging the breath during movement. This class is meant to improve flexibility, strength, and balance.  This class unites the mind, body and spirit. Yoga experience is suggested before taking this class.

Yin/Restorative

This soothing class  will focus on longer-held poses with support, embracing ease through breath-work and stretching. Leave class feeling grounded, mindful, and rested.  This class welcomes all skill levels and uses props for support. 

Gentle Stretching Yoga

This class is for all levels and abilities. We will guide you slowly and focus on functional stretching, modifying with props such as bolsters, blocks, & straps.  This class will support mobility and flexibility.

Private, one-on-one yoga is available. Private classes offer an opportunity for our teachers to customize the class specifically to meet your goals and focus exclusively on your journey. We are now offering private Prenatal yoga classes for individuals or couples.  Please call the studio to schedule a private session.

Complimentary Yoga Class

This complimentary class will be a beginner level flow class guiding you through sequences focused on stretching and relaxation.  

Restorative Yoga with Sound Relaxation

90 minutes

$20.00/class

Students will be guided through a brief grounding meditation and breath practice to begin the class. Then they will be led into a gentle set of movements for the body before settling into long held (5-10 min) restorative yoga poses which will be supported with yoga bolsters (pillows), blocks, straps and blankets for a fully supportive class. While students are in the restorative postures, the teacher will immerse the room in soothing sounds using instruments such as singing bowls, native american flute, bells, chimes, a drum and her voice. Surely to be a relaxing experience had by all!

Gentle Hatha

Join us for this gentle beginner Hatha yoga.  You will stretch, hold, breathe and begin your journey into Hatha yoga.  Yogi's of all levels welcome and anyone new to yoga will find this class a wonderful place to begin your journey.

Power Vinyasa

Power Vinyasa is a powerful, energetic form of yoga where you will fluidly move from one pose to the next while connecting your breathing to your movements.  Our power vinyasa is not heated.  Come enjoy this high movement class.

Gentle Yoga with Strength & Balance

Still using the foundation of the Gentle Stretching Yoga Class, we will focus more on gentle strengthening to slowly build this up and balance using props such as a chair as needed to work on muscle memory so that balance slowly improves over time. We will still stretch and incorporate slow, functional movement and mobility into this practice. This class is for all abilities. 

Gentle Vinyasa

Everyone can benefit from this gentle yoga class that incorporates movement for flexibility, strength, and balance.  The movement into poses is slow paced flow to allow the student to feel stable and supported.  Choose this class for a total body yoga experience.

Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation

Learn a variety of techniques to enjoy mindful meditation whenever you need it.  Daily meditation of just 10 minutes provides health benefits.  Come and find out how you can incorporate stillness into your daily life.   Cindy teaches this class.

Restorative Yoga

Come and learn to reduce stress and increase calmness in this beautiful gentle restorative yoga class.  You will be supported in your poses with blocks, bolsters, and blankets while you rest and allow yourself to deeply engage in the pose without movement.  Breathing into your pose as it melts away tension.  Anyone can benefit from restorative yoga for its ability to calm the central nervous system.  Cindy teaches this class. 

Yoga Nidra

Come and experience a longer Savasana and deep relaxation  with Yoga Nidra.  This practice will leave you feeling rested and pampered.  Lying on your mat, using blankets and bolsters for support if necessary, for the entire class, you will rest your body and keep your mind aware.  You will be guided by one of our teachers on a wonderful journey into deep relaxation. Yoga Nidra can reduce anxiety, tension, stress, improve sleep, and support cognition. 
This class is suitable for anyone. 

Sound Healing

Join Steph as she guides you into deep relaxation by playing soothing sounds. You will rest using comfortable props such as blankets and bolsters. Feel free to bring a comfortable pillow from home if you prefer.  Wear comfortable clothing and prepare to go on an inward journey while your nervous system is massaged by beautiful sound waves. This is truly a class that will provide you deep relaxation and peace.

Mindful Breathing with Gentle Yoga

This class will teach  how to calm your body & mind through mindful breathing followed by gentle yoga movement.  You will learn how to breathe to be in the present moment and still your busy mind and then enjoy yoga postures to relax, reduce stress, and improve your overall well being. 

Tai Chi Gung

Tai Chi Gung - Created by the 1st Tai Chi Gung Master Boganathar, Lao Tzu. A series of warm-ups and four basic standing exercises that are the core of every class. These are simple, moving and breathing exercises that help students feel the life energy of nature directly. Almost 90% of the students feel it in their very first class. Whether you have been studying for 6 minutes, 6 months, or six years, you do the simple movements you learned in your very first class. They serve us an outline, and each student connects in their own way. The Practice is consistent. New students can join this class anytime and you’ll feel right at home. You won’t even break a sweat with this calming practice.

Yoga Blend

This class includes a blend of vinyasa flow and hatha yoga as we alternate between sun salutations and static poses held for longer durations. Special attention is given to postural alignment and breath awareness. The intention is to allow you time to safely set up the pose, and then stay in the pose long enough to connect deeply to your breath, using the inhale to become aware of where there is tightness in your body, and then using the exhale to create opening in those areas. All levels are welcome.

Yoga for Deep Relaxation

A very gentle class appropriate for all levels. This class focuses on generating The Relaxation Response that slows down your breathing and heart rate. This brings healthy blood back to important organs, especially the brain. Each class will include breathing exercises to calm the nervous system and focus the mind, gentle movements to warm up the spine and relieve stiff joints, and may also include gentle poses intended to prepare your body for a whole body guided relaxation at the end of class. Chairs or mats can be used for this class.

Yoga from Head to Toe

This specialty class, taught by Milly Jo, will lead the student  in specific postures through the entire body, extremities to core , leading into a meditation and then into a relaxing body scan. Come and experience the ultimate body experience and leave feeling calm and relaxed.
