More About Your Yoga

Your Journey

At Your Yoga, our certified teachers meet you where you are in your yoga journey.  Our classes develop balance, flexibility, strength, calmness, and encourage breath work. We provide modifications for poses during class to ensure each student is comfortable and safe.  You may want to take advantage of our private yoga classes.  The private class allows the teacher to understand where your body is today and develop your yoga journey goals. Individualized instruction ensures your safety and adds helpful tips to support your practice.   Private sessions are by appointment.  We recommend private instruction to those brand new to yoga. We suggest 2 or 3 private sessions before moving on to group classes.  We also offer individual consultations to discuss personal goals and help guide class selection and yoga practice development.  We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that enables you to stretch, bend, lie down and move freely, and yoga socks to help prevent sliding on your mat.  It may also be advisable to bring a towel or yoga blanket for additional comfort or warmth. We offer mats, blocks, blankets, knee pads, and straps for students to use during class and always have complimentary water and snacks available.  

 

Our Passion

Teaching yoga and guiding you on your journey is our passion.  We will support you along your path to a healthier body and a calm mind.  We strive to provide a clean, welcoming, and peaceful space for you to experience your yoga journey.  We welcome everyone to practice at our studio.  Those 16 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. Each class at Your Yoga has an  11 student maximum in order for our  teachers to support each students needs.   A description of each class offered can be found on our classes/pricing page of this website. 
We look forward to seeing you in the studio whether you are trying yoga for the first time or already actively practice.  We embrace you into our community for who you are and where you want your yoga journey to take you. 



 

Your Development

 In addition to supporting you on your yoga journey, Your Yoga offers the ancient practice of Tai Chi Gung.  Our teacher is there to guide you through this gentle practice that brings harmony to your body, mind, and spirit.  Read more about this practice on the classes/pricing page of our website.
